I was so pleased to be able to have a day trip, across the Italy-Slovenia boarder, to the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. We stopped at Lago del Predil, a lake in the the Carnic Alps, and had food there in the sun. We stopped at a village on the way back to Slovenia too.
