Being or feeling misunderstood is an inevitable part of life. For those of us who live with EDS, or any health condition, there are many ways in which we can be or feel misunderstood. Being part of the EDS and chronic illness community can be fantastic; many of us have shared experiences of the tedium and upset of being or feeling misunderstood.

Being misunderstood, or feeling so, must be one of the most human things to experience, and numerous historical documents show it has been happening to people for many years.
