I felt very EDS-y, so I am having a home day. I am staying home and the making the most of it; I stayed in bed for almost all of the morning, then had a slow day, watching good tv, reading and slowly making some tasty food!

EDS &… Plans
One of the most signigicant life-impcting things I have found very tricky and frustrating is the difficulty in planning, with a condition which is unpredictable. At times it can feel like damned if you do (make plans), damned if you don’t (make plans).
EDS &… Food
EDS can impact the GI system and effect food intake. I have a number of symptomatic structural issues. Despite this, I remain a ‘foodie’, though GI symptoms can be significant.
Helsinki, Finland
I was fortunate to have time to explore Helsinki. The city and nearby islands are beautiful, giving a mix of urban and nature to enjoy and explore. The exploring, food, outdoor swimming asn sauna at Allas Pool and boat trips to Lonna were fantastic!
Paris, France
Paris is such a lovely city to wonder around, in various districts such as the 9th and 18th district, and by the Seine. I enjoyed brunch under the Eiffel Tower, dinner on a boat on the Seine as the sun set and visiting art and antiwue markets.
Thank You O: Our Animal Friends
Our animal friends are fantastic; we are lucky to know them and share our homes with them. Thank you to O, who is the most wonderful friend.
EDS &… Movement

Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona is a lively, gorgeous city. I visited years ago, but have not had the time to explore.
Mallorca
Mallorca is gorgeous. The waters were clear turquoise, white sand and bright terracotta coloured rock at the coves. We visited beaches and coves, swimming with fish. Our hotel was fantastic.
Treehouse, France
The treehouse was magical!
Copenhagen, Denmark
Copenhagen is a lovely and vibrant Scandinavian city. We walked, cycled and had a boat ride to get a taste of Copenhagen. The food was fantastic! I wish I had had more time in Copenhagen, but look forward to going back!
EDS & … Living Well
Living with EDS can be tricky at best. After diagnosis, I put a lot of thought into how to approach life with EDS. The following are my thoughts of living well with EDS.
Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy
I was so pleased to be able to have a day trip, across the Italy-Slovenia boarder, to the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. We stopped at Lago del Predil, a lake in the the Carnic Alps, and had food there in the sun. We stopped at a village on the way back to Slovenia too
Slovenia
Slovenia has incredibly beautiful nature. We stayed near Bled, in a cabin, looking out over mountains.
Croatia
Hvar, a popular island in Croatia, had been on my list for years, and I was thrilled to finally experience it. The water is bright clear turquoise, enjoyed from boats, exploring the surrounding areas. I also saw Split being visiting Krka National Park.
