I am in Helsinki, the beautiful captial of Finland.I am enjoying exploring Helsinki so much. Today, I enjoyed a light lunch and swim at Allas Pools, then a boat ride. I love water and boats, as well as exploring new places.

Movement is generally good for health, while EDS can cause discomfort, pain and fatigue. This can feel counterintuative to movement. Like many, I have tried to work out how to approach movement.

I had a winter trip to Amsterdam.
Colon & Stomach Surgery (2022)
In 2022 I had GI surgery; part of my right large colon was removed with the remainder stitched (pexied) up, and my stomach was stitched up (gastopexys).
Mallorca
Mallorca is gorgeous. The waters were clear turquoise, white sand and bright terracotta coloured rock at the coves. We visited beaches and coves, swimming with fish. Our hotel was fantastic.
Visceroptosis & Mesenteric Ischemia Diagnosed (2021)
Visceroptosis and mesenteric ischemia were diagnosed in 2021. The conditions cause severe GI symptoms.
Treehouse, France
The treehouse was magical!
Copenhagen, Denmark
Copenhagen is a lovely and vibrant Scandinavian city. We walked, cycled and had a boat ride to get a taste of Copenhagen. The food was fantastic! I wish I had had more time in Copenhagen, but look forward to going back!
Undiagnosed Infection & EDS Fatigue (2021)
I had worsening fatigue and weakness from 2016, extreme by 2020. It turned out to be a long-term undiagnosed infection
POTS Diagnosed (2020)
After a number of years of PoTS symptoms, I was formally diagnosed in 2020, and was able to seek medications to help.
